This design is a result of time-consuming repeated melting of the gold surface. This has created a nice rustic texture which is very unique and different every time.
Because rose gold loses its colour when heated and then regains it partially when polished, the ring is a mix of a rose gold colour and various yellowish-rose shades. It is carefully finished and lightly oxidized.

The whole process is unique to rose gold only (because of the relatively high percentage of copper in the rose gold alloy) and can’t be done with other gold alloys.
