Pink Baroque Pearl Earrings, Sterling Silver with Gold Details, One of a Kind

The earrings are partial hoops with postbacks. I used the ancient technique keum-boo to apply 24k gold foil on the inner part. The outside is decorated with hammered texture. They are oxidized to enhance the contrast between metals.
The pearls are beautiful baroque biwa pearls with nice lustre (natural, freshwater, cultured, pink colour with a hint of mauve or light violet).
Little gold details are gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver).

More about the keum-boo technique:
Keum-boo is an ancient Korean technique used to apply thin sheets (foil) of gold to silver. Traditionally, this technique is accomplished by first heat-treating a surface of sterling silver to bring up a thin layer of fine silver. Then 24-carat gold foil is applied with heat and pressure. The resulting bond is permanent.
