Another twist on my Gold Chaos design, the unique result of one of my experiments with melting and layering gold and silver.
Nice men’s ring or wide unisex band, could be a wedding band or just a special gift for special someone.
One of a kind.
This ring is made by layering and melting or fusing gold and silver layers onto a silver base. Gold used for this is 18k gold, some completely molten and some only fused to silver, resulting in a rich and unique texture. The lowest fineness used for the silver part is 925 (sterling).
The texture is also inside the ring, but it is less deep and smoother there.
The ring is polished to be smooth and comfortable, the edges are rounded and the silver is oxidized.
Width: 8 mm
Thickness: between 1.3 mm and 1.5 mm, closer to 1.5 mm in most places
As for all oxidized silver rings, the oxidation will wear off where the ring is smooth (mainly inside and around the edges) and will stay in deeper areas (in the texture).
